New 'Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora' DLC, 'The Sky Breaker', Arriving on July 16th
When Ubisoft's ambitious open-world 'Avatar' game was finally released to the public in late 2023, it came with a surprising roadmap that included plans for at least 2 additional DLC story-packs that would follow the main game. At the time details were short about the planned expansions, with only the barest of details being provided for the story summaries and released dates of the two content expansions. However, today at UbiForward we were finally treated to both a first-look at the story beats, and a release date for the first story expansion for Avatar: Frontiers: The Sky Breaker
Set in a time of peace after the events of the main game, The Sky Breaker will see our character return to the Upper Plains region to take part in the Zeswa Clan's "Great Games" festival. The festival is interrupted when an RDA airship- a Valkyrie shuttle, from the looks of it- crash lands in the plains area and instigates another conflict with the RDA forces.
Other noteworthy details from the story trailer include the return of Colonel Angela Harding, a primary antagonist from the main story, a possible new weapon type, and a new area of the plains biome that features heavily in the game's second act.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Sky Breaker DLC Release Date
The Sky Breaker DLC is scheduled for release on July 16th, 2024.
