Avatar Comes to Fortnite
Players of the hit game Fortnite in our community will be thrilled this morning to hear that, after a long period of rumors and hearsay, it appears that Avatar will finally be joining Fortnite’s impressive roster of collaborating franchises. A post from Twitter user HYPEX, known for their reliability in posting Fortnite leaks and news, claims that the game’s new update will include not only skins for Neytiri and Jake, but also glider skins featuring their ikran (banshees) as well. Another Twitter user, fnleaksnews12, further explains that of the multiple encrypted .PAK files leaked for the new update, one of them is labeled for James Cameron’s Avatar, providing even more leverage for the validity of these leaks. Along with player and glider skins, .PAK files have also included new emotes in the past, so it’s possible that some for Jake and Neytiri will be included in the game’s update along with their skins.
This information won’t be officially confirmed until Fortnite themselves releases more information on the new season’s update, but the leaks coming from multiple sources that have boasted a high level of reliability in the past offers credibility to the rumors—much more than previous whispers of such a collaboration have had in the past. So it’s our wish that this time around, fans of both Avatar and Fortnite can look forward to seeing these new skins in the game within the next few weeks, according to the patterns of previously released leaks.
